Every learner at Wisdom Wood follows the same standard: a rigorous curriculum, delivered with individual attention, from their very first day to their last.
Curriculum
We follow the Zambian national curriculum from Baby Class through Grade 7, covering Mathematics, English Language, Science, Social Studies, Zambian Languages, Creative & Technology Studies, and Religious Education — with extra emphasis on literacy and numeracy in the early grades.
Structure
The academic year runs in three terms, from January to December. Baby Class and Nursery focus on early-years foundations; Grade 1 through Grade 7 follow a full subject timetable, building toward the Grade 7 Examinations Council of Zambia assessment.
Teaching Approach
Small class sizes mean every learner is known individually. Teachers track each child's progress closely through continuous assessment, not just end-of-term exams, so gaps are caught and addressed early — not at report card time.
